Hi Kids!
The field has narrowed to three:
Jeff
Joey
and Nathan
That’s all for now!
Your pal,
Chuck
Hi Kids!
Sun’s up. So are we, some of us, anyway…
Here are the last folks standing (figuratively–actually we’re sitting)…
Julie:
Ryk:
Jeff:
Gabe:
Kayla:
Joey:
And while all this was going on, Joey won the final $20 bill from Wonderfunders!
Finally, Ryk finished! Here he is with his creation, “The Ballad of Joseph Rathammer”, just as he was about to walk out the door.
And that’s all for Hour 21.

Chuck
Hi Kids!
Here’s something you don’t see everyday, unless you’re in Albuquerque for The International Balloon Fiesta, that is…
05:46: Right about now, the folks are flocking to the International Balloon Fiesta. Ironic that I would post this picture three hours ago, before I took a little nap…
And whilst I was sleeping, Zach went and finished his comic, making him the
FIRST TO FINISH!
Here he is with his finished comic, “A Day to Remember”.
And, as the FIRST TO FINISH, he wins a Fantastic Four trade paperback from our pals at Astro-Zombies!

Chuck
Hi Kids!
Here’s the field at midnight. It has thinned considerably…
Oh, and we had another raffle drawing and Eloy won a copy of Yesterday and maybe tomorrow too, cowritten by our own Jeff Benham. This a beautiful book. I call it visual poetry…
And then we had another raffle and the strangest thing happened. We have two remote workers, Aliina, who has participated every year AND FINISHED! and Elizabeth, who is working with 3D animation tools and not a portable setup. Alas, Aliina is unable to attend due to illness, but she’s with us in spirit. So anyway, we drew two tickets for prizes from Comic Warehouse, both STAR WARS Annuals, and Aliina won the first one, and Elizabeth won the second one! What do you suppose the odds are THAT would happen? Here’s Jeff holding their prizes.
And so it goes…
Your pal,
Chuck
Hi Kids!
Spent the last couple of hours socializing and taking more pics of work in progress.
More visuals, less words…
We had a couple of raffle drawings and…
Zach won a Star Trek SkeleTrek action figure from our friends at Comic Warehouse:
Phoebe won a hardcover copy of WOLVERINE Contagion from Lobo Anime & Comics:
And Rob won a $10 gift Certificate from our pals at TWIN SUNS
Meanwhile work goes on…
Your pal,
Chuck
Hi Kids!
We’re back (actually we never left), but it’s the thing to say…
More stuff is happening.
Stephanie and her son Eason brought Green Chile Quiche, YUM!
Our pals (and board members) Ben Girven, Jenn and John Myers just brought PIZZA hand made by Ben! That’s him in the back behind his creations…
Next time, more work in progress!
Your pal,
Chuck
