24HCDVT down from 12 to 8 folks…Hour 13

Must be the witching hour… It’s getting quiet in here!

Our dear Jim Gorman finished his comic about an hour ago and fit a whole bunch of sci-fi movie hints into his text-gravaganza.  Thanks for joining us yet again, Jim!

Two others had to leave due to outside commitments, so we are down to eight participants still slowly plugging away.  Highest page count so far is 17, last I checked.

pages 7 & 14 from Jim’s comic
I’ve been blogging away here and on my own, so here’s a link to the few pages I’ve completed so far.  (12 is my goal.) sweetenemyart.blogspot.com

New Orleans Update…

Caesar Meadows – This is the first time I’ve attempted to draw a 24 page comic book in 24 hours even though I’ve known about the challenge for years. So far, it’s proving to be an enjoyable and quite reflective experience. I’m making up the story as I go along and so far it’s about two guys trying to draw a better comic book than the other. I highly recommend the challenge to other comic book artists/cartoonists out there.  If you’re interested, there’s more of my work at  www.mogihead.com.

Spencer Bradford – Enjoying my first time at 24 Hour Comics Day.  My comic is basically about two individuals with different points of views coming together to overcome an evil menace.
