2014 is the 10th anniversary of 24 Hour Comics Day. Please come by and celebrate with us! We’ll reminisce about past years while also discussing how to make October 4th, 2014 the best 24 Hour Comics Day ever. On October 5, dozens of comic specialty shops will host “cartooning creativity marathons” in their stores for 24 Hour Comics Day 2013 (24HCD), a special event that will once again see professional and amateur creators around the globe attempting to write and draw their own 24-page comics inside of a 24-hour period!
Last year, over 1,200 artists in more than 17 countries and 28 U.S. states participated in 24HCD, drawing not only comics, but attention to the medium from worldwide media and fans. The event hopes to bring together creators in a spirit of creative unity.
