A printing company in the UK is running a competition for comic book creators. This isn’t a 24-Hour Comics Day event, but we though 24HCD participants might be interested in the details:

Print Express love designers, artists and everyone creative – and we’re running a competition for up and coming comic book artists to help showcase their work. If you send us your comic we’ll pick a winner from our favourite entries and produce a small number of professionally printed comic books – enough for you and some friends, or for your portfolio.

To enter, email your comic as a PDF to comics@printexpress.co.uk. As ever, there are some rules – which you can find in detail here.

(24-Hour Comics Day doesn’t have an official contest for participants, but individual hosts may set up their own. Completed 24-Hour Comics Day books can be included in the national archive, though! We’ll post more details for that as we approach the event date, October 20th.)
