Improvement again

The Liminka School of Arts in Finland finished about half an hour ago.
Year 2006: ten artists draw their 24 pages.
Year 2007: 16 did it.

1st to complete in our event
In the regional library of lapland, the first to complete 24hcd challenge was Kerttu Kunnari at about 3.45 am. We started the event at 4pm.
You’ll soon see all Kerttu’s 24 pages at our blog.

Press Release from Itiban Comic Shop, Brazil
Dia 18/10, sábado, acontecerá em várias cidades do mundo, o evento:’24 HOUR COMICS DAY’ criado por Scott McCloud (Desvendando os Quadrinhos).
A cada ano, o número de participantes só cresce. Em 2007, foram 1.200 desenhistas em 17 países – incluindo quatro cidades do Brasil. Neste ano o Brasil será representado por SP, Curitiba e Londrina. O desafio do evento é produzir uma história em quadrinhos (da concepção à arte-final) com 24 páginas em 24 horas! Neste ano a ITIBAN COMIC SHOP irá sediar o evento e reunirá 24 participantes amantes da arte sequencial:

O evento começa às 13 horas de sábado e terminará às 12:00 hs de Domingo (horário de verão,não podemos roubar uma horinha,né?).
Parece fácil? impossível?
O resultado desta maratona( todas as HQs terminadas ou não), será enviado para Ohio State University Cartoon Research Library onde farão parte da Coletanea 24 Hour Comics Day. As HQs também ficarão disponíveis na ITIBAN , GIBITECA DE CURITIBA e no site www.curitibahq.com .
Quem quiser aparecer e conferir a produção e dar um incentivo aos participantes é só chegar entre 13-18 hs. Depois ficaremos de portas fechadas por 19 horas, com muito café, energético, docinhos e trilha sonora solitária, tentando vencer o cansaço e o papel em branco !
